Kendall Hinton is the founder and owner of Kodaco Construction, a Charlotte based firm specializing in real estate development, construction, and wellness driven design. A North Carolina native from Durham, Kendall’s path from college athlete to licensed general contractor has been built on discipline, focus, and a commitment to excellence.
A graduate of Wake Forest University with a degree in Health and Exercise Science, Kendall began developing his passion for structure, teamwork, and human performance early on. Before entering the construction and real estate industries, he spent time in the National Football League, where he developed the structure, accountability, and leadership style that now define his business approach. Those experiences shaped his ability to manage high pressure environments, build cohesive teams, and deliver results. Qualities he’s carried into every phase of his professional career.
Through Kodaco’s divisions, Kodaco Construction, Kodaco UrbanWorks, and The Collective, Kendall leads a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from residential renovations and custom builds to affordable housing developments and modern wellness spaces. His focus is on creating long term value through design, quality, and integrity rather than short term gains.
Kodaco’s mission under Kendall’s leadership is to bridge the gap between affordability, quality, and innovation, delivering homes and spaces that feel intentional, functional, and lasting. He believes every project, whether a single renovation or a multi home development, should reflect craftsmanship, transparency, and purpose.
Kendall’s philosophy is simple: build with intention, lead with integrity, and leave every space better than you found it. His work reflects not only his eye for design and structure but also his belief that great construction starts with great communication, strong relationships, and a clear vision from the ground up.
When Kendall isn’t working, he is spending time and traveling with his fiancée, Nyah, and his dog, Koda.
